This will be a working introduction to a set of linked threads, beginning with clearing ancestral damage via the physical practice of the Fever Stone (which some may know of from Weaving Fate). We will then explore building a relationship with two currents of ancestral spirits, which I refer to as the Old Lines. The Old Lines are our deep time Elders (our blood or genetic ancestor, focused on those who lived before recorded history) and their more peculiar sorcerous counterparts, whom I call the Mist Line. This session will provide a conceptual and narrative framework, the material bases, and the option to begin the work to whatever degree you feel comfortable. This is all rooted in the work that is covered in my upcoming book.

The process of interpreting an astrological chart is often portrayed as a mechanistic one. Even older texts appear to say this by "cookbook"-style rules and aphorisms. I call this the hardware side of astrology. There is no doubt that the foundation of astrological practice is based on these rules. However, there is a software side. This is the part that books cannot teach. In the vast list of significations, what makes one choose one over another?In this talk, Eric will discuss one avenue: employing your mediumship/intuition. Eric has been working on communicating with spirits, whether ancestors, guiding spirits, or deities, for over 35 years. Before every astrological reading, Eric asks for their guidance to tell the client what they need to hear. This has become a vital part of the consultation process that is not separate from astrological delineation, but a necessary part of it. He will discuss his process and make suggestions for developing your own practice.
