Packing List
Essentials
Tent or hammock to sleep in (waterproof and bug-proof). Rainfly & groundtarp.
Warm sleeping bag or sufficient bedding
(required)
Ground pad
(required)
Flashlight or headlamp
(with extra batteries — required)
Personal dishes
mug or cup, plate, bowl, utensils which will be yours for the duration of the campout (required, can be borrowed for out of towners)
A refillable water bottle
Water (1 gallon per person per day to supplement Elkenmist’s supply).
Toiletries (soap, toothbrush, toothpaste, etc.)
Towel
Toilet paper
Bag or backpack (to carry things around camp during the day)
Chair, camp stool, lil blanket or sit-upon. This will be your seat during lectures.
Sunscreen (please don’t get heat stroke)
Multiple clothing layers (prepare for both heat and cold)
Practical footwear (water-resistant hiking shoes recommended for morning dew)
Rain gear (umbrella, poncho, etc.) Not expected, but be prepared :)
Snacks and extra food items for between meals
Basic first aid kit
Sense of humor and open heart
